The Queen responds to our singing…

Following our Royal singing Event at the end of June, Allison Pitts wrote to Her Majesty the Queen to let her know how we had celebrated her Diamond Jubilee in this part of the world.

“The Queen has been deeply moved by the wonderful response to this historic year and, as Patron of the Royal School of Church Music, Her Majesty was touched to see the programme of music which was played in your Anglican Parish of Pauatahanui in Porirua to commemorate her Diamond Jubilee.

The Queen was pleased to hear how much your special celebration was enjoyed by everyone…..
