Bach came to town March, RSCM’s Andrew Reid comes to town April

You are warmly invited to our RSCMNZ Wellington Branch annual dinner at which Andrew Reid, International Director of the RSCM will be guest speaker. Andrew is an inspirational speaker and a musical dynamo with wide experience in church music. Please tell your singers about it – love to see you there!

MONDAY 13th April 2015
6.00 p.m. for 6.30 p.m.
at the splendid new hall of All Saints, Hataitai, Wellington. $ 35 per person by pre-paid ticket. We need to receive payment into the RSCM Wellington branch’s bank account – BNZ 02 0500 0236837 00 by 7th April 2015 at the latest – with your name mentioned in the “code” of your internet bank payment so that we can prepare a ticket in your name. Alternatively any payment by cheque should reach us at P O Box 6303, Te Aro, Wellington

TUESDAY 14TH April 2015
a) 12.45pm to 1.15pm: Celebrity Organ Recital by Andrew Reid at the Cathedral of St Paul. Free entry, donations invited.
b) 2.00pm to 4.00pm ($15 per participant):

PRACTICAL WORKSHOP ON LITURGY AND HYMNODY, in the Chapel at the Cathedral of St Paul.

Afternoon tea served in the Brian Davis Room.

A refreshing workshop for musical directors and singers; open to choristers of all ages, and particularly convenient to school-going choristers on school holidays.

c) N.B. We have decided NOT going ahead with the Celebratory Service scheduled for 6.00pm. This will enable us to keep the workshop focused on the needs of participants.
