Happy and Glorious

Canterbury branch of the RSCMNZ is one of many round the world who on or near 12 June 2016 will be celebrating Music Sunday. St Michael and All Angels in Oxford Terrace on Sunday 12 June 2.00pm to 3.00pm will ring to the sounds of choristers performing some of Queen Elizabeth II’s favourite hymns along with many other favourites and motets. Guest artists will also present items: John Linker of Christchurch (Anglican) Cathedral will perform on the church’s fine organ; Cathedral Grammar School Girl’s Choir and the Salvation Army Choristers enhance the programme with their offerings.

The Canterbury Branch event along with others round the world are matching the RSCM UK celebration which hosts the Queen, who is RSCM Patron, recognising her 90th birthday.
