Waikato Music Sunday

Next Sunday, 18th June, is RSCM Music Sunday, and all over the world RSCM branches will be celebrating the role that music plays in worship.
Waikato branch is meeting at St Bride’s, Otorohanga, where we are hosted by Ven Arhdeacon Christine Scott and her parishioners.

Here are the arrangements for the day:

2.00 – 4.00 rehearsal for the 5.00 Evensong

Music: Hymns: ‘Let all the world’, ‘Hail, gladdening light’, ‘Abide with me’.

Versicles and preces: Ferial

Canticles: Gibbons or Batten, (to be decided on the day)

Introit: ‘O come ye servants’ Tye

Anthem: ‘The Lord bless you and keep you’ Rutter

Accompanist: Anne Cleaver

Directors: David Brookes, Gordon Binnie, Vaughan Chetwynd, Michael Dawson.
